    Big thanks to Charles Soden for helping me out on a job I had this week, had to do a bunch of cob web/dirt dobber removal and house wash on a home with a freshly stained ipe deck and wood ceilings. Appreciate the advice Charles, it was spot on.

  3. Yes Chris, anyone can attend as long as you pay the registration fee....

Chris, you are right, while I knew about this conference, and had discussed attending with Ron, and later we decided we really did not need too, I should have posted in case anyone else wanted to attend. I will try to do a better job of keeping ALL contractors apprised of these type conferences and seminars.

  6. No problem Carlos. They are open to the public, and anyone can attend. You can go to the EPA SITE and sign up for their email alerts. You'll get alerts for all types of things that you choose too.
  7. Carlos, yes anyone can attend these....we considered going but felt at this time, with the relationships and progress we have made here in Houston, it was not really necessary.

    300$ sounds about what I charge for up to a 2500 sq ft house. Gutter cleaning inside and out is one of those jobs that I really don't want to do. BUT....if they are going to pay the price i want, and they want it done right, then I do it. I have recently added on "snaking" the gutter down spouts and in ground "drain" system using a hose set up I got from Paul at powerwashstore.com. I charge a minimum $750.00 for this. Customers love it.

  14. The problem is when these these things are taken lightly, and you think oh this won;t happen here, and then all of sudden you have a Houston on your hands. Stay in touch, get to know your LOCAL authorities, and the ones that interpret and enforce. You will find that all they need is education, the right education, and they will listen to you. Help them help you.
