Here is the Exterior Cleaning Soap I use! It Can Be Sprayed on Directly with A Pump up sprayer or Down streamed with the power washer!

Can a simple water hose spray nozzle be used with a Delavan pump to water grass?  I recently had some dozer work done away from any public water system.  I have grass seed and straw down and need to water.  Some of the ground is sloped so can't safely drive over with gravity flow system.

I have a Delavan pump and 65 gallon water tank from my former roof cleaning business.  Both have only had clean water inside.  I have tried 4 different sprayers but can't produce enough spray to reach more than 10 feet.  I sprayed for an hour and didn't empty the tank.

Does a high pressure nozzle need to be on the end of a wand?  When spraying roofs I had a trigger operated wand with a 4-nozzle head.  It would spray much better.  Unfortunately, I can't remember where I bought the wand online.

    Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    RT

I have a 3000psi 2.8gpm w/downstream. My house is grey hardiplank with white wood trim. There is green algae on the hardiplank and almost all of the caulk on trim seams and trim itself is stained black with mold/mildew?? I want to wash it the right way and have been doing some reading on the site. I want to spray a mix on, let it sit and rinse it off. Is there a decent mix I can make using household chemicals, or am I wasting my time by not ordering the simple cherry and some pool chlorine? Is there a good basic mix using just household bleach and detergents? I've read a bunch of different ideas. Thanks for your advice!

Most of my experience is in a commercial setting, big buildings, but I am by no means a pro at pressure washing. I'm a pro at managing and maintaining big buildings and the associated systems and equipment. I rely on people that are specialists such as the people on this forum and highly respect the advice. I've been around a lot of people who think they are pros at lots of different things and the truth usually comes out when they can't walk the talk. In the Facilities world I have to know a lot about a lot of things, but don't have to be a specialist at any. Anyway, I'm going to try the mix Pat Norman suggested above and hopefully get all this stuff off my house. BTW, in 20+ years, very rarely have I had to use chemicals for washing, usually cold water pressure was enough. Only used chems on grease and oil.

I purchased a scoop that is attached to an extension pole from window sourse seems to work fairly well. Just push the debris to the side then pick up and place it in bucket

If you want to use a great product for cleaning the outside of gutters, use Kurd kutter for metal. It does a great job. I have used it for my business for years. I used to use simple green, but the smell can be overwhelming. If I had my choice though, it would be Krud Kutter. It is made by rust oleum.

That is exactly how we do it as well.

Allison was kind enough to use a picture of my son Zach rinsing out a gutter after scooping the debris.

As far as gutter whitening, I would like to see product comparisons. Gutter Grenade, Gutter zap, super clean..etc etc. Maybe in different temps too.

With clean outs, I would like to see how people are doing the job. I use the old fashioned bucket and rubber glove method. Then I run a hose down the downspouts. Works every time.

I've heard of people using vacuum systems on them. I would like to see the effectiveness of that.

Excuse me for being dense, but are you refering to cleaning gutters out, or cleaning the gutter's exterior?
