what songs get stuck in your head?

Question

So I was at menards "home depot kinda store" and on there music they were playing a song didnt think much of it till i was driving and wouldnt you know its been stuck in my head for two dam days now.... are you ready for the song lol....

Its by Connie francis.... V--a--c--a--t--i--o--n we're gonna have a ball... and thats the only part of the song I know lol..

So wondering what songs have been stuck in your head while working or just driving down the road?

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N in the summer sun

Put away the books, we're outta school

The weather's warm, but we'll play it cool

We're on vacation, havin' lots of fun

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N in the summer sun

We're gonna grab a bite at the pizza stand

Write love letters in the sand

We're on vacation, and the world is ours

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N under summer stars

Yeah, we'll hop in our jalopy to a drive-in movie

And have a look at the show

We're gonna hug and kiss, just like this

And I can't wait to go-oo-oo

We're gonna mash potato to a jukebox tune

Park your car 'neath an August moon

We're on vacation, till the start of the Fall

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

We're gonna have a ball! Goooooo!

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

Gonna have a ball!

Oh-ho, we'll hop in our jalopy to a drive-in movie

And have a look at the show

We're gonna hug and kiss, just like this

And I can't wait to go-oo-oo

We're gonna mash potato to a jukebox tune

Park your car 'neath an August moon

We're on vacation, till the start of the Fall

V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

We're gonna have a ball

Yeah! V-A-C-A-T-I-O-N

Gonna have a ball! (fade)

Anytime I drive by a "House for rent" sign I get:

Trailer for sale or rent

Rooms to let...fifty cents.

No phone, no pool, no pets

I ain't got no cigarettes

Ah, but..two hours of pushin' broom

Buys an eight by twelve four-bit room

I'm a man of means by no means

King of the road.

Third boxcar, midnight train

Destination...Bangor, Maine.

Old worn out clothes and shoes,

I don't pay no union dues,

I smoke old stogies I have found

Short, but not too big around

I'm a man of means by no means

King of the road.

I know every engineer on every train

All of their children, and all of their names

And every handout in every town

And every lock that ain't locked

When no one's around.

I sing,

Trailers for sale or rent

Rooms to let, fifty cents

No phone, no pool, no pets

I ain't got no cigarettes

Ah, but, two hours of pushin' broom

Buys an eight by twelve four-bit room

I'm a man of means by no means

King of the road.

Lets ALL sing

When working, I'm always pulling out lines from "One bourbon, one scotch, one beer" by George Thorogood & the Delaware Destroyers. In fact, it is my company's theme song. Every worker gets a CD.

For foot tappin' fun, listen here:

I'm the one with the scratch in the record...my songs skip and repeat the same verse over and over and over and......

Could explain why I'm a little high strung?!?!?!

:arg:

Nah! I just hate it when the alarm goes off and the radio is playing some stupid jingle or part of a song and that stays with me till I put something on that I will intentionally allow to stay there to obliterate the unwanted version!

It's a musicians curse to not be able to think of a song while another is still playing.

Rod!~

Is like having bad or obsessive thoughts. Only solution comes by way of a buddhism teaching. In order to get rid of a bad song you must change your mind and thoughts. That is done by placing a new thought purposefully into ones brain.

(jist extrapolated from "wherever you go there you are")
