As long as you are different, and can give a realistic and viable answer as to why you are more expensive, then there is a reason you are worth more.

Labour is one of my cheapest costs. I'm not about to get into a peeing contest with anyone about price. People don't care about your costs of (insurance, uniforms, advertising ...) and the fly by night will always be around.

Don't sell on price, when there are lots of people doing what you do, make changes.

Sell. Sell. Sell.

Now get the job done, in the amount of time quoted, get paid, cash the check, on to the next. Then you are in business.
