Scott Stone 604 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 I have never used one or bought one. I have heard that their quality is lacking. I know that there are some on this forum that have bought silver eagle stuff, though, and they might get you a better response.
acegot 14 Report post Posted September 6, 2009 I have had a Silver Eagle Phoenix Propane unit (7gpm-4000psi)for 5 years, its been a good machine. Just this year replaced the flow switch(general pump) & unloader(K-7). Same components that are on hundreds if not thousands of pressure washers. The SS welded chassis is still in tact. Oh by the way, I replaced the belts last year, that was my fault, they had been a little loose for a couple years & never tightened them. I like the pump plate mount system, everything stays aligned nicely.
John T 744 Report post Posted September 7, 2009 (edited) Hello, interested in purchasing a trailer mounted wash system from silver Eagle manufacturing, however i am unsure of their quality... has anyone ever heard about them? Thanks I have two of there Burners and two burner tanks for truck mounts for sale if you want them. I haven't used the Burners in a year but they did work great. Somewhere I have a picture of them on my Flatbed. Probably somewhere on this website. $1000 u can have both Burners which probably could use to be tuned up and also the two truck mounted propane tranks including in that price. You would need a powerwasher to run these two propane burners. Edited September 8, 2009 by John T

John T 744 Report post Posted September 8, 2009 John with the propane burners what do you need to just need battery and pressure washer or do you need 120vt run the burner that is great price for heaters how is the coils do they need anything. You just need a battery and a pressure washer. The battery works the on/off switch for the burners. Those Burners cost about $4000 and the propane tanks that I have for them which can be mounted on the side of the truck cost over a $1000. Yup I am pretty much giving these propane Burners away because I am back to enclose trailers and thhe propane tanks can not be stored in an enclose trailer. John T 744 Report post Posted September 8, 2009 Here is a picture of my Flatbed truck that I since sold, with my Propane burners on the flatbed and one of the propane tanks on the side. The Burners are still in the same condition. http://www.thegrimescene.com/forums/bargain-basement/15143-propane-burners-tanks-sale.html
rocket09 14 Report post Posted September 15, 2009 I would not purchase anything from Silver Eagle. About 2 years ago I purchased a skid mounted unit that hasn't ever worked right. They have a poor tech support that has no customer support. Other people I talk to say they they are lacking in Engineering. They build a cheap unit but not a quality one. I would stick to a name brand like hotsy or landa etc that have worked all the bugs out. acegot 14 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 Curious, what didnt work right? Was it a propane or diesel?
Jim_Cooney 14 Report post Posted September 16, 2009 I was warned away from the Silver Eagle skids. Learned of consistent problems, terrible customer support. I would recommend you look into the Envirospec Allison skids, Envirospec/Envirospec North 877-351-1238 or the Hydro Tek line of skids.
