0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted January 1, 2010 Going to use RS Dark Red. Should be pretty sweet with his paver river stone backdrop.

0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted January 4, 2010 Adrian,Consider yourself fortunate. We won't start wood again for at least 3 months. I always think about you guys in Jan and Feb when we are already breaking a sweat. Gotta admit though it has been a crazy winter so far. One day it snowed in Houston and the next it's 65 degrees. 0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 After pics. Very odd this time of the year people wanting their fences stained when it is so cold outside. I have another one to prep and it is hovering around 35 today. But I will get it started at least and wait for the 40's/50's again to spray it.
0 acegot 14 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 (edited) Adrian, Looks good! How many sq. ft. was that fence? How many gallons of R/S did you use? Thanks in advance, Lyle Edited January 8, 2010 by acegot typo
0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 Lyle, it was 900 sq. ft. give or take. I used 7 gal to the last drop of Dark Red. I guess the down side was that ( like the title) all of the wood knots soaked through to the other sides of the neighbor's fence. No complaints, but the RS really does penetrate on those "lean" fences. Who knows, maybe it will lead to more work from the neighbors. It's happened before. 0 acegot 14 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 I've had that happen also, (the bleeding of the sealer around the knots to the other side.)
0 Tracy Handl 108 Report post Posted January 8, 2010 It's so cool when the knot bleed happens. Really emphisises the penetrating of Ready Seal. Glad to see work is still going well Adrian. Happy 2010 to you my friend!
