Chappy 138 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 (edited) Here is a project I started thanksgiving. just finished last week. http://www.flickr.com/photos/organize/?start_tab=sets Considering that I cant cut a board straight for the life of me, I am pretty proud of myself! My wife wasnt real happy when she found out I couldnt stain it for 6months or longer. She wants solid balustrades. Did I say I started this project at Thanksgiving? Gotta Love Florida in the winter! 0 Celeste 341 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 Your house is precious :) Nice job on the new front steps! We did a very similar job on my daughter's house last summer (except she has concrete steps) - with that type angled look though.
0 Rick2 42 Report post Posted February 5, 2011 What a difference that makes, opens up the whole front of the house. In my opinion stairs are so difficult but maybe it's just me. Several years ago I redid my interior stairs with hardwood and black concrete...OMG! Fifteen years ago it took me almost 2 years to build this house. I thought is was going to take another 2 years just to make the new stairs. Nice work you did there.
