0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted May 29, 2013 I should have showed it to you Shane when I was there. Definately left a scar. Saw myself stepping down into a pile of labrador chizz and corrected on the way down to overstep it. While pushnig the chem dolly I hit the trigger, and the line was full of 12%. It's looking much better. Never again will I be reserved about asking the rich folk to clean up after their dogs before the project begins. Yay pain !!! 0 RPetry 564 Report post Posted May 29, 2013 duck tape band aid and get back to work shake it off...... Yup. Spoken like a true trooper. I've had NaOH burns kind of like that, Stripper Cream. Rinse, soak a bit in citric acid, and hope it does not get infected. Grin and bear it, go back to work. Woodie first aid. Still kicking.
0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted May 29, 2013 Yup. Spoken like a true trooper. I've had NaOH burns kind of like that, Stripper Cream. Rinse, soak a bit in citric acid, and hope it does not get infected. Grin and bear it, go back to work. Woodie first aid. Still kicking. Rick, Ive had both types now. I can say that the angle I hit my arm at, I was lucky. However, ( at that angle) I still love my xjet over hydroxide burns anyday. Different angle would be a different story. That was just a graze. I'm an (X) EMT and that training came in handy. Quick sleeve wrap and back at it. Yay pain !!!!
0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted May 29, 2013 Thanks Rembrandt....Beth Hey, this thread could very well be a learning tool for others to not do something stupid like this. Really!!!! I take all the credit, helpers are worthless this year. Yay pain !!!!

0 Adrian 155 Report post Posted May 29, 2013 That's good news. Glad it wasn't the gout man. That means old age is creeping up fast. I wonder if we could install a "show us your injury" category in the directory. It could possibly "thin the herd" of newborns or show the potential for injury. Yay Pain !!!!!! ( Hey Maybe we could call it Yay Pain !!!!! )
