Paul Kassander 26 Report post Posted September 7, 2006 Stay away from the push button pin lock poles they break pretty easy, and the twist lock ones are even worse. I have had the bes luck with the lever lock, the seem to last the longest and held up the best when we used them in my truck wash, up and down at least 4 times a truck. Check out harbor freight they have some decent ones cheap.
Guest Danebob Report post Posted September 8, 2006 my ettore pole is as hard to use as any other. very light but the twist lock tightens up so much that you need pipe grips to loosen it. Really i've never had that prob. make sure your not tightening them to tight to begin with. Later man.
karlosdaze 14 Report post Posted February 8, 2007 There is a way to make your Unger pole even higher up to 45 foot. Ask Unger, mine was modified by the seller. Its pretty hard going at this height though!
DCOX007 14 Report post Posted February 14, 2007 I buy poles from a local janitorial supply house that sells to window washing guys and floor care people. He stocks parts for them so find it works out real well. I dropped on off the roof and broke the plastic connector to the brush and was able to get a new one is 5 minutes so could still use the pole and not have to discard.
