This weekend's work

We finished this one up today. Full cedar resto (3 sides only). 2yr failing Clear Solutions looked all dry and brown and lifeless. Brought this old girl back nice and gently. WTW extended with spirits, warm honey gold. Homeowners loooooooved it.

Add it to the portfolio and keep on a git'in it ;) I'm sleeping in the the morning...

Snapped this one and thought I'd share for any 'newer' woodies...

The left side is what happens to cedar stripping with heavy caustic. Right side is after neutralizing / brightening with Citralic. So don't doodoo your bloomers if your wood goes all black on ya.

Gracias mi amigos. What was that big brown ewok carrier on treads in Star Wars? I kept waiting for this house to rise up and roll off into the desert sun. Fun, fun project and finally some cooler days here in the mountains.
