Chappy 138 Report post Posted February 2, 2004 What is the purpose of the lance. What makes it different from the wands. are there circumstances that it is necessary? Just curious?
One Tough Pressure 580 Report post Posted February 2, 2004 Are you referring to a dual lance? If you are then it serves a couple of purposes. You can use it to lower pressure, without changing the tips or messing with the unloader, and you can use it for downstreaming chemicals. Turn the handle and you get low pressure, which will make the chems draw, and twist back for high pressure and no chems for a rinse.

Scott Stone 604 Report post Posted February 2, 2004 A Lance and a wand are interchangeable terms. Sometimes a dual lance is called a dual lance wand. Scott Stone

Chappy 138 Report post Posted February 3, 2004 I was just curious. Ive seen the lances in catalogs, and because they look so different from the wand I have, I just thought they were something special and I was missing some important tool. Chalk it up to being a newbie. thats why I come to this board. Thanks everyone. Jon C
