0 Douglas Hicks 128 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 I cannot tell from the pictues, rattlesnakes have triangular head. When we found them while hiking, we let them go. Except for the one we found too close to camp. Bull snakes are patterned similar to rattlers, and will coil and strike like a rattler. The young bull snakes esepcially minic a rattler. 0 C&S Property Services 24 Report post Posted June 29, 2009 My guess would be a rattler. Since Maryland doesnt have too many species of snakes. Or at least know ones...but hey we didnt know anything about the Snakeheads (fish) either.
