Nmd 80

Question

Is NMD 80 safe to use on dryvit?

I have 2 restaurants to clean that have rust from the a/c drain and stains from grease splashes. I would like to try and get off as part of the building wash.

Should be. I would try it in an inconspicuous spot first, to test colorfastness. It says be careful of dyed substrates, but NMD80 is a pretty weak solution. As always, low pressure on EIFS.

Is NMD80 weaker than OX? I have never heard of it. I have used OX on eifs that was painted and had rust. It worked fine. Of course it was not a really strong mix, but it worked fine removing rust.

NMD80 is a hydrochloric based I believe (not positive on that, so check the MSDS). It's definitely stronger than Ox. I rarely use a respirator with Ox, but it's a must with most EacoChem stuff.
