0 Mike Williamson 198 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 How about this for a 4 day forcast? I don't know anything about the weather where you're at..I know out west where it is dry, -6 is much more tolerable than it is where it is more humid. I was outside in Flagstaff a couple years back in -6 temps in nothing but a Tshirt and jeans and it wasn't too bad. Here, I'm FREEZING if it is in the 20s and I have flannel on. Pretty much the same in southern Michigan. Dang! I'm glad I don't wash trucks this time of year.
0 Jon 533 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 What no snow birds here? Does not even one own an RV that takes off to the warmer states for winter. My former neighbors when I lived in Redlands are snow birds, they own the house in Redlands, one in Wyoming and till last sumemer one in Idaho which they sold. They plan to sell the home in Wyoming this coming summer and move permanately to Redlands. We are still deciding where to plant our roots.
0 Beth n Rod 1,279 Report post Posted December 24, 2004 Jon, not a snow bird ... yet! :) but the thought has crossed our minds about spending a month further south doing restoration work but still havent made that move. Too much going on here locally. I sure dont envy you other ladies and gentlemen with the drastically low temps you are enduring. I get brain freeze just thinking about my time in Missouri, Too Dang Cold!~ I'm a warm weather kinda guy. Rod~
