0 AAPaint 14 Report post Posted August 4, 2012 Wow.....look at the splinters all over that sucker! I'm a former painting contractor, and I've NEVER done that to wood.....OMG.
0 KGILL 14 Report post Posted August 7, 2012 According to the video you need at least 3000 psi to strip wood. Not sure why I bought a size 13 nozzle then.
0 AAPaint 14 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 3000 psi will PUNCH HOLES IN CONCRETE for god's sake! What a yahoo! As a former painting contractor, I can tell you most painters barely know how to sling paint, and not much more. This is why we started a wood restoration company, to raise the bar for wood care in Jacksonville.
0 steven 37 Report post Posted August 8, 2012 well i can tell you this, when he says that " a 4000 psi rotating nozzle will strip and tear wood off pretty fast " he aint lying.

0 bigchaz 157 Report post Posted August 9, 2012 He charges 18 dollars a panel...I use more than that in stain alone.
0 AAPaint 14 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 Yeah. I couldn't touch his prices, but he couldn't touch my results either. How many times can he tear half the wood off and still have a fence left to maintain? Did that thought ever cross his mind?
0 KGILL 14 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 According to the video you need at least 3000 psi to strip wood. Not sure why I bought a size 13 nozzle then. If 3000 is good, 4000 must be better, and 5000 psi must be awesome
0 KGILL 14 Report post Posted August 10, 2012 He charges 18 dollars a panel...I use more than that in stain alone. He can offer low, low prices because he saves on other chemical costs like cleaner and brightener/neutralizer. Ha

0 NAPWO 21 Report post Posted October 17, 2012 While I agree this is a very incorrect way to do wood care, I'd like to say that before the use of chems. this was the way most did it. Water only and pressure...Seems he missed all the good info available over the last 20 years....This should serve as a good reminder why products from your distributors help make your jobs easier with higher quality results.
