VanDiesel99 14 Report post Posted March 19, 2006 I don't know if they make one that long. You could always have one made but I don't know how you insulate it.

Adrian 155 Report post Posted March 20, 2006 also Northern has a 12 foot insulated lance for around 30.00 bucks is what I think I paid for mine. It's worth it's weight in gold.
Russ Johnson 141 Report post Posted March 20, 2006 Build your own and save some shipping money. 6' and above ship oversized. Get a 4' insulated lance, 2 - 3' aluminum bare lances, and 2 freight saver collars (1/4" coupling with deeply recessed threads), and there's a 10 footer... Larry B 55 Report post Posted March 20, 2006 I make my own. Call the local pipe supply store. I make mine in 1/8" schedule 80 and in 1/4" schedule 40 stainless steel. I have them cut it to my length and I just thread the ends.
JBenson 14 Report post Posted March 21, 2006 Thanks for the info, i think i will try to make one. I looked at northern tool and higherpowerssupply.com and found none over 5 feet. Making one might be my best bet. thanks
mikew 14 Report post Posted March 21, 2006 What does everyone use the longer lances for? Maybe I'm missing a technique on washing that I need to know about! thanks! Mike
GymRat 14 Report post Posted March 21, 2006 I use them on houses where I can't reach areas without a little extra reach. I also use them when I clean around foundations of homes to get that extra distance away from the dirt which always hits me dead in the face anyways.

Larry B 55 Report post Posted March 21, 2006 why the two different ones if u dont mind me asking The 1/8" is a little flexible and bends easy but is lighter and easy to tap. 1/4" in schedule 80 is pretty heavy when it is long. I wash a lot of trailers and stuff so I like at least a 6' wand that I can hang onto all day long.
