This note is to home owners who think that the lowest price, the fastest availability and the prices for wood care given over the phone are the way to go. These photos represent a company operating in our area illegally, that matches the above criteria. Sadly the photos are typical of the work, and we repair this type of damage on a regular basis every year. This deck was washed and sealed the same day.....if you want to call it that.
Ask to see a copy of the license. Ask to see a copy of the liability insurance. Check the Better Business Bureau rating. Don't get burned.

^^^this. I agree, Rod. It seems like the orgs are always "at war" with each other. It seems kind of dumb to me. I came to this site due to the lack of name calling, bashing and all around "internet tough guy" knowitall crap that exists on a few other forums.

The offending comments about a former member Tony S who has been banned here have been removed, and the mention of the video participation that he was claimed to be in have also been removed. We have never seen any video likeness of this person performing any illegal act, and to the best of our knowledge this is a false statement with no supporting proof and did not occur.  We ask all members to refrain from posting falsehoods regarding him or any other individual. Anyone doing this may become subject to account suspension or termination.

A big thanks to Shane for coming in and helping me with a pretty good sized wood project.
It's been a stellar week and still am going strong. But I needed a little hudspa on this one.
 
Suddenly my helper realized he forgot to insert his anal suppository and couldn't work, at the very last minute.
So I reach a little farther into the abyss of contractors that have offered ( lets just say) their services in times of
slower than usual prosperity, to no avail.
 
 
Helpers think I take on some projects that are too big for my little company. I do just fine.
 
However my work load has been uncomfortable to say the least with really weird weather lately.
 
Whatever.... back to Shane.
 
Made the call to Shane and he was just wrapping up his morning.
He made the crappy drive to my customers house through our murderous Houston traffic,
 worked for an hour and helped me finish up.
He knocked out around 60 remaining ft. and the gate return.
 
You are a really good dude to help me get the wheels back on the rails.
Right on!!!!
