A Prayer for a Friend

Question

Our friend and colleague Jim Foley is going to surgery tomorrow.

I'm putting this on the other boards as well: On Thursday am I would like to ask if everyone who reads this will stop whatever they're doing at 9:00 am and say a prayer for Jim Foley. I know prayers can do wonderful things and if we all do it at once, it has to be that much stronger.

Thanks,

Celeste

I put this in the Wood Care thread because that's why we know Jim. To put something as serious as this in the Club House just didn't feel right.

Not certain, Hugh. He mentioned on another bbs that he has had multiple health issues and that he was facing surgery today. I just know he has a family (and a bird I guess :)) I also know that lots of prayers can't hurt and he has been a treasure to all of us on all of the forums :)

Thanks for your prayer's !! I am home and recovering. The surgery went well. I had open Heart to repair a leaky valve that would of caused congested heart failure. This was a congenital problem found in Nov.. Recovery will be slow but I'm very lucky I found out.

Please no infractions!!) Did you try that move I was telling you about with the nurses.......the "oops, I accidently put my gown on backwards" trick??:) Sure is good news that you are well!!

Diamond Jim--I hope you have a speedy recovery. The wood restoration work In Connecticut will be calling you when the summer breeze sets in from the LI sound saying "Jim Jim" Ok that'll be me yelling across the sound since I live near it and your a few miles North of it on the other side:)
