You are correct - it certainly is a suppressed 'mute' point, however it is not a 'moot' point. Renouncement of citizenship cannot be remedied in this respect - period. Inquiring minds demand to see these documents - don't fall for their excuses. You CANNOT responsibly cast a vote for this guy until you know. There are many, many other things about this guy which are not only unsavory but are absolutely diametrically opposed to Judeo-Christian American principles. He is Islamic in thought and practice through and through. This is the worst thing that can happen to America. You may be brainwashed by this self-proclaimed "citizen of the world", but I trust there are enough 'American' citizens to see the tremendous danger he poses and vote to get this guy out of American politics. It seems likely Obama will be the next President - if so I truly feel sorry for all of you who made that happen - you well may experience the Socialist economy, poverty, and disregard for human life that will ensue.

Richard

You know, even John McCain told one of his...less informed... supporters at a rally that she was WRONG about him being what she claimed he was, and McCain himself said Obama is an honorable man. Even McCain has said he has respect for Obama, he just differs in political opinion.

I'll be glad after I have cast my votes, both local and federal, and can be done with all this election stuff, so we can get down to the real business of working to FIX this mess.

Beth

Gov't doesn't fix anything...everything they put their hands in, they just seem to screw it up further. I say vote for the guy that endorses less gov't. That would be McCain.

Less government, less welfare, no entitlements, no affirmative action, no anchor babies, and get rid of the illegal Mexicans. Would anyone else vote for that?

Do you really think that the DNC would put all this effort and money and above all their reputation on the line to put a man in office who was not eligible?

That would be like the RNC trying to put Ahnold into the presidency. It would just be a huge mistake.

I look at this whole campaign for what each side has presented;

McCains camp has not answered the call on issues. He says he will do this and that but he does not say how in any specific terms. He wants an across the board spending freeze. That equates to Millions of government based jobs. Unemployment is already at a 30 year high. Lets add more to the mix. Oh, and he is wanting less government, that means those people he just put out of a job are 'on their own' which means no unemployment insurance support (which is currently state based and running out of funds) and more people losing their homes because they can't pay the mortgage.

Oh, and there is that too, he wants to buy up the mortgages (socialistic in definition alone) and what does he propose to do with them once he has bought them??? What happens to those people who are living in them???

His own advisors have said that his health plan is not that great of an idea because those who would take advantage of it would have less benefits than the ones they already have through their employers. $5000 dollars is not enough to buy insurance folks. For the average american, it costs $12000 a year. Not to mention that it would increase the deficit by 1.2 trillion (projected) over the next ten years.

McCain is not going to do anything to help social security and that is a major problem to me because it means that by the time I retire, all the money I HAD to put in will be gone and I will have nothing to show for it. He will privatize it like a gambling operation and leave it up to the private sector to invest in the market which is worth nothing now.

McCain will keep us involved in the Iraq war which is long overdue to be ended and keep dumping money into keeping our countries forces divided and weak. Sorry, that is a poor strategy considering the economic situation of our country at this time.

McCains entire strategy has been to cast doubt and fear and instill paranoia into the country making us all divided at the core. This is a weakening campaign for all of america and he as a former veteran should know better. I don't see anything in McCain reaching across the aisle to the democrats to bring us together. He talks boldly but his promise is empty. He is a follower and not innovative at all.

I have seen Obama address the issues, tell you what he will do as president, work to make government more transparent, end this occupation of Iraq and focus on the target of terrorist activities, use the money being spent on all that to help rebuild our infrastructure which is behind the other nations in the world, revamp our healthcare system to improve it, bring our country together again to work on rebuilding it and improving it to compete against the global markets.

This is all positive to me and it does not instill fear, paranoia, or divisivness.

It is the message of a leader who is trying to unite a broken and divided country to bridge the gap republican rule has created and reverse the trends our economy is facing.

Vote however you feel best. I cannot say it strongly enough...

Well since they protect William Jefferson from Louisiana and others, without any prosecution, then vehemently attack any republican that does something that is not nearly as stupid and vain, I would say they would put an unqualified candidate up for election. Additionally, since they love to attack Sarah Palin as unqualified, yet, her resume far exceeds Obama's, that can put questions to mind, as well.

Perhaps that's cause you can't keep up with an old 'sad grandpa' or 'double maverick' strategy and goto bed before 11.30pm on a Sat. night or maybe you don't like shopping QVC..lol Edited by MMI Enterprises

IF he elected then how it be a mistake?. Do you really think they would tell the zombie minions no they can not have what their koolaide flavor prescribed?..just like voting for going after WMD's before not wanting to go after WMD's they do what is best in the moment to better their chance at a win. Only diff there between party line is just how far individual candidate (along with their upper echelon of advisors/managers) may go out of their own personal morals and convictions.

Am I alone in noticing that everytime a valid issue or concern is brung to this 'obama' thread that it is never addressed and a hunk of McCain this or that is thrown out there? How cme ya dont want to talk about Obama in an 'Obama' thread. Feel free to vindicate if ya like.

What freedoms has GW taken away from you? Are you a terrorist? I can see that if you are, he has been ruthless on them....and so would McCain.
