John T got a reaction from Beth n Rod in Envirospec Still in Business??
I talked to Dan Galvin probably 6 months ago and he was slated to buy out Envirospec. I thought he said within a year... But maybe he bought them already. Personally Thad I would give him a call to see if he wants to be a PWRA vendor member.

John T reacted to Guy B in PWNA Bulletin Board is open!
John, no disrespect intended.....but if the board was doing so good why didn't the BOD support it? Seems to me they would want a place for members & leadership to network & share info.....Strange. I know you put a lot of effort & time in it, I'm sorry that it was closed.
On the filpside it could be all the FB PW pages........I've been very disenchanted with that for a while.

John,
Good for you. I recall your trials and tribulations over many years with PW orgs. Too much time, energy, and passion expended for little return.
Take care of your business, family, and self. We're getting to that age when it is time to smell the roses a bit and enjoy life. Be well my friend.

Hey Chris-- if your around March 14-16 Jack above and Matt Johnson are doing there yearly now Albany event upstate NY. Great place for Powerwashing contractors with 18 or more years like myself or someone just starting out to be able to learn and network. You'll get to see some cool machinery and demo's as well. You'll learn a ton even about the questions you have here.
Also for you there are guys not far from you that will attend this event. These guys you want to seek out because networking is paramount in growing your business..
Something to think about and it's good to have choices with opportunities:)

Brad,
Somehow I thought you were in Brighton. And it is obvious from your signature that you are not. Early dementia.
The *ell with a meal, Beer City USA sounds like heaven. I was very impressed with the Michigan micro brews.
Having never been anywhere but in the Detroit area, I had no idea how beautiful the state is. Rolling hills, lots of forest and lakes, black and fox squirrels, and sand hill cranes. The Upper Peninsula must be even better.

Thad,
Nonsense. You and many others not mentioned in my post deserve credit. Going back in time, if I can remember, Mark Smith, Ken Fenner, Greg R., Jim B., Diamond Jim Foley, and others used this website and the old Delco board to get the wood restoration business recognised by the general public. It helped my small business and many others.
So take a bow!

Doug, a plastic plug could be a thermal relief valve. Is your pump tank fed? Could be sucking air where it's leaking water. Call me if you'd like.

Jack Kramer deserves an award. He is a natural MC. The incipient PW Industry should recognize his ability and contributions. Same goes for you Thad. Also, Beth & Rod must be recognized as the foremost leader in online education and content.
In addition, Tom and Barbara Vogel of ACR products deserve mucho kudos. Along with Everret Abrams, they put roundtables on the map many years ago. They have pulled many contractors feet out of the fire for many years, and continue to do so. I would not be in business without their help and support.
Carlos Gonzalez deserves a much needed recognition for his spunk, accumen, and downright efforts in trying to steer this service business to another level.
Last, but not least, Peirce Fitchette of Ready Seal stains and Jake Clark of Armstrong-Clark stains have supported this small service "industry" to the hilt.
To one and all, you are friends. Valuable friends.

Did you check your fittings and swivels on the reel?
That is where I had problems with freezing once.
The plug on the bottom of the pump is usually one used for oil drain.
Water coming out of it would indicate that the seals failed and water is now getting into the gear box.
Time for a new pump. I had a similar experience (not from freezing) when the pump just imploded upon itself. Unbolted the head and everything inside
was a tangled mess.

All good points. I'll add beer, plenty of smokes if one craves tobacco and is iced/snowed in, and an adequate suppy of firewood. De-ice is helpful so you, your spouse, or dog does not fall on the friggin' steps and driveway. If UPS has a delivery, demand that they plow the driveway.

John T reacted to Mathew Johnson in Who is the creator of the PW "Roundtable" meetings?
fred flintstone made a round table in the rock quarry years ago for Mr Slate to have a meeting. I also think the round table was later used as a wheel. What ever happened to the old cartoons!
